Our chapter will once again host the very successful Student Education Sessions. The adjudicator will be
Dan Levitan, principal harpist with the Silicon Valley Symphony Orchestra. The sessions are free open to all ages and levels. Participants will perform two musical selections of their choice, receive feedback from the adjudicator, and return a month later to perform again.

String Fever, our second annual harp ensemble program, is open to both lever and pedal harpists of all abilities. There will be music for you to play regardless of what level you are. The practice and performance will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in San Jose. To sign up, email either Martha Bailey at litharp@aol.com or Linda Rollo at lwrollo@gmail.com.

$10 Suggested Donation ($5 Youth)
This program is given to raise money for our Student Scholarship Fund.

Susann McDonald is acknowledged as one of the world's leading harpists and teachers. She was a student of Henriette Renié and Lily Laskine and was the first American to receive the Première Prix in harp from the Paris Conservatory. Susann McDonald holds the title of Distinguished Professor of Music at Indiana University, where she chairs the largest harp department in the world. She also chaired the harp department at The Juilliard School for ten years. Her students continue to be among the leading teachers and orchestral harpists in the world as well as winners of national and international competitions. Susann McDonald is Artistic Director of the World Harp Congress and Founder and Artistic Director of the USA International Harp Competition.
